Your whole practice, held in one calm place.
FrondCare brings your clients, session notes, questionnaires, reports, bookings, M-Pesa payments and even your blog (with an invitation to book a free first call under every article) together, so you spend less time on paperwork and more time with the people you care for.

Built around the way counsellors actually work
Every client's journey
Follow each person from first enquiry to ending, with clear steps for therapy, assessment and spiritual direction.
Session notes that lock
DAP, SOAP, BIRP and progress-note templates, a risk check in every note, and dated addenda once a note is signed.
Questionnaires, scored
Over 20 recognised measures, including the DSM-5 Cross-Cutting screen, scored automatically, charted over time against severity bands, with risk items flagged.
Formulation and diagnosis
Guides for CBT, person-centred, systemic and many more approaches, plus the DSM-5 Cultural Formulation Interview. Record diagnoses with ICD-11 codes and DSM-5-TR names, a criteria checklist and your reasoning; questionnaire results suggest what is worth assessing.
Reports and letters
Assessment reports, referral and attendance letters that fill themselves in from the client file. You finish the details.
Bookings and reminders
A calendar, an online booking page that offers only the hours you choose (for example weekdays 9 am to 3 pm) and never double-books, reminder emails the day before sent from your own practice address (your own domain or Gmail), your Zoom or Google Meet link added to every online session, and your sessions in Google Calendar. See how new clients found you, and how often your website and articles are read, with no cookies.

Write a note in minutes, not hours
- Choose a template that suits the session, or a light reflection note for spiritual direction.
- See last session's plan and the client's goals as you write.
- Sign to lock the note; corrections are added as dated addenda, never overwritten.
See progress, not just sessions
- Give questionnaires in the room or send them to the client's phone.
- Scores are charted automatically, so you and your client can see change.
- Add your own questionnaires when you need them.

Get paid without chasing
- A fee is added when you sign a session note; invoices take one click, and go to the client by email as a PDF on your letterhead.
- Clients pay by M-Pesa straight from their invoice: a prompt appears on their phone.
- Receipts are issued automatically, and a monthly export is ready for your accountant.
Safeguards you can show the ODPC
- Two-step sign-in, an automatic lock when you step away, and daily backups.
- Clients' requests to see, correct or delete their information are logged with the legal due date, and old files come up for review.
- No AI unless you switch it on for a client; consent is recorded on the agreement.
- Each client's whole record downloads as one page when they ask for it.
- Print your own data protection file in one click: record of processing, retention policy, breach plan and impact assessment, filled with your details and a live summary of your safeguards.

Articles that invite the first step
- Write and publish articles from FrondCare; they appear on your website's blog straight away, or write ahead and give each one a day: it publishes itself that morning, and FrondCare emails you the ready-made posts you keep with each article for Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Google, so you can share it from your phone.
- Your newest articles show on your home page as small cards that open the full article in a new tab, so your page stays open behind them.
- Every article ends with a gentle invitation and a Book a free introductory call button, so a reader who arrives from Google or a WhatsApp share can take the first step there and then.
- Writing for colleagues, or for schools, churches and workplaces? Choose who an article is for, and its invitation changes to suit them.
- Select a few words and click Add a link to lead readers to a related article, your booking page or your contact details. Links to drafts switch on by themselves when those articles are published, so readers never meet a broken link. Articles that link to one another keep readers reading, and help Google see what your practice writes about.
- Have an email newsletter, such as Substack? A Get new articles by email button appears on your blog, and each published article can be copied as a short version, ready to paste, that leads readers back to the whole article and your booking button.
Designed here, for practice here
Most practice software is built for American or European clinics. FrondCare is built by a Kenyan counselling psychologist, for the way care is given in Kenya.
M-Pesa and shillings
Fees in KES, M-Pesa payment prompts, Till and Paybill on every invoice.
Privacy by design
Built with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 in mind: records kept in Kenya, two-step sign-in, consent recorded, no clinical details in emails.
Faith-sensitive
Spiritual direction sits alongside therapy, with its own gentle journey and notes, for practitioners who serve communities of faith.
A simple, private portal for clients
Send a secure link and clients complete intake forms, sign agreements, answer questionnaires and book their next session from their phone. No account or password needed, and every link expires. Couples get a separate link for each partner, so each answers privately.

Questions counsellors often ask
Who is FrondCare for?
Counsellors, psychologists and spiritual directors in private or small practice in Kenya, working alone or with a few colleagues. It suits counselling and psychotherapy, psychological assessment and spiritual direction, with individuals, couples, families, teenagers and children. Early access is for practitioners licensed by the Counsellors and Psychologists Board.
What does it cost, and can I try it first?
Starter is KES 1,500 a month for up to 15 active clients, Solo is KES 2,500 a month, and Group is KES 2,000 per counsellor a month; paying yearly gives two months free. Everything is included in every package. You can use your own FrondCare free for 30 days without giving any payment details, and the live demo is open to anyone today.
How do I pay?
By M-Pesa, monthly or yearly, in Kenya shillings, with no hidden charges; you receive an invoice and a receipt each time. Group practices and institutions can also pay by bank transfer.
Where is my clients' information kept, and who can see it?
Each practice has its own separate FrondCare at its own address, which only you can sign into, with a password and a code from your phone. Records are kept on secure servers in a data centre in Nairobi, Kenya, so they stay in the country, and they travel to and from your FrondCare only over encrypted connections. We never sell or share your clients' information, and we do not open your records unless you ask us to help with something.
Does FrondCare help with Kenya's Data Protection Act?
Yes, it helps you meet it: two-step sign-in, consent recorded when clients sign their agreement, a register of clients' requests to see or correct their records, a yearly review of files you no longer need to keep, a breach plan, and a data protection file you can print. You remain responsible for your own practice, including registering with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
What happens if I stop paying, or decide to leave?
Your records are always yours. If a payment is late, FrondCare becomes read-only after 30 days: you can still open, print and export every record, but not add new ones. If you leave, you can download all your records in one open-format file first, and we help you do it.
Can I bring in my existing client records?
Yes. Your list of clients can come in from a spreadsheet, either by you or with our guided set-up (KES 5,000 once). Older paper notes can stay safely in your files, and new notes go straight into FrondCare.
Do my clients need an app or an account?
No. You send a secure link by email or WhatsApp, and clients fill in forms, sign agreements, answer questionnaires and book sessions from their phone. Each link works only for that client and expires after 14 days.
Can I use FrondCare on my phone?
It runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install. Writing notes and reports is easiest on a computer or tablet.
Does FrondCare use AI?
Only if you choose. The optional writing help turns your jottings into a tidy note and polishes reports and letters, always for you to review. It stays off until you turn it on, works only for clients who have agreed to it, removes names before anything is sent, and uses your own AI account. Everything else in FrondCare works without it.
Can several counsellors in one practice use it?
Yes. Today each counsellor has their own private FrondCare, at the Group price of KES 2,000 each, billed together.
Can my receptionist use it?
Yes, free of charge. You give your receptionist their own sign-in, with their own password and two-step code, so your password is never shared. They see only the front desk: the calendar and bookings, clients' contact details, sending forms, invoices and M-Pesa payments. Notes, questionnaires, diagnoses, reports and risk stay closed to them, everything they change is recorded under their name, and you can switch their sign-in off at any time.
How do I get help?
Help is built into every screen, with short narrated videos (a minute or two each, with captions) that show each step in the demo, and the whole guide can be printed as a booklet. Start with the two-minute welcome tour. You can also write to us by email or WhatsApp: we reply within two working days, and the same day if you cannot sign in. New subscribers are invited to a monthly online “Getting started” session.
When can I start?

Explore the demo while you waitA frond is the leaf of a palm, the part that grows from its living heart and slowly opens to the light. A new frond starts tightly folded and unfurls in its own time; in a storm, fronds bend without breaking and offer shade to whoever shelters beneath. Good counselling works the same way: growth from within, at the person's own pace, with a safe place to rest along the way. FrondCare holds each client's whole journey in one calm place, so that care can grow.
